Was contemplatin whether to go windsurfing or surfing. Wanted to go windsurfing. There was enough wind to use my 6.3 slalom sail but I didnt fancy risking getting it damaged in the surf especially when I need it for another 3 weeks and cant afford a new one.
If only it was another 5 knots more and I woulda gone out on my 5.4 so I opted to go sufing instead which wasnt that good to be honest. Pretty messy surf so the rides werent long at all and the cross shore drift was very strong. Only caught 1 or 2 waves and struggled like hell with the short board.
One thing that stood out for the day was a couple blatently shagging on the beach which was quite amusing. they were snuggling up with each other when I arrived and when I came back in they were still both all over each other except they had a blanket covering them and it was pretty obvious they were up to mischief in the sand. I couldnt beleive it myself and I dont think the other bystanders did either.
